The SL-F3 was a slimline Beta available in multiple colors with a wireless remote control included.

This deck could originally be had in silver, red, or white. Some of the new features of the slimline deck like picture search are explained, although this deck lacks the more advanced multi-speed playback and other trick-play features. Many of the future slimline and EZ Betas were based on this chassis and design.
