Dah Yang Toy Industrial Co., Ltd. or Dah Yang Toys - sometimes also DYTOY - is a Taiwanese plastic toy manufacturer founded in 1958 that sold and exported a variety of electromechanical toys that were often sold in gift shops or mall stands including the Playful Penguin Race, ferret ball toy, and Jumping Dolphins. In the 1970s Dah Yang produced copies of toys like like Plarail and Super Rail and released many contracted, original, and derived designs in the 1980s.
Tokyo Playthings Ltd., also knows as Toplay Ltd and TPS Toplay, who manufactured tin toys in the late 1950s and 1960s, designed several of Dah Yang's 1980s toys including the Playful Penguin Race, Jumping Dolphins, and Kinsman Robot. Some Dah Yang toys were based on designs seemingly licensed from Toybox.
