French Tomy Train Sets

TOMYTRAIN Basic Set (1990/1991)
Released in the early 1990s in France and apparently the Netherlands, the TOMYTRAIN Basic Set featured a short train and small oval of track.

The set includes the red steam locomotive and passenger car, but no dolls other than the driver to ride in. Indeed, there are no real accessories at all other than the driver, and the track is only an oval...
Other than some Thomas-series sets, this is the smallest and least-featured Tomy Train set made... It is a good choice to include the reversing rail, but switches and accessories of literally any kind are what really make toy trains fun.
