1978 Tomy Super Rail Catalogue

This catalogue shows the revised Super Rail Black range that appeared around 1978. The trains in blue towards the top have the regular reversing gearbox and were sold in three-car sets like Plarail and the green ones (sold as individual power cars) have coupling and uncoupling features and, in the case of the ED-75, a two-speed gearbox. The opposite page as individual carriages.

The left page explains the reversing, coupling and uncoupling, stopping, and speed-changing features of the different trains. The bottom left shows the different operational tracks and how they work. On the right is the track packs and individual accessories.
