Plarail Plateau Lake

The Plarail Plateau Lake or Highland Lake (高原の湖) is a scenery accessory released individually and included in the Tohoku Joetsu Shinkansen Deluxe Set in 1982. The accessory also includes a fir tree.

 

The accessory base has bumps to slot in beside track and depicts a small farm near a lake with mountains in the background. Cow and pig figures are slotted into the base.

The accessory includes a fir tree made up of a molded brown base and three different leaf sections that slot onto it. This tooling originates as a Super Rail tree and was later adapted for Tomy Train. The individual release went out of production around 1983, and the highland lake faded into history...
