This foldout pamphlet was included in some sets in 1971 and 1972 like the D-51 Express Train Set. It shows how to install the batteries in and turn on the Plarail trains available at the time. This is the last catalogue that shows the red and white Super Express Hikari.

The pamphlet shows the entire range of trains, rail, and accessories at the time including the D51 Express Train, New Train, Express Train, and other real trains added to the range in the early 1970s. Rail still included old Tansen point rail and Y type rail and accessories include the old block buildings, the then-new Country Station, and some nice layout suggestions
