3 pieces Emily with PlaKids coach
1 R-01 Straight Rail
1 R-02 Half Straight Rail
8 R-03 Curve Rail
1 R-08 Stop Rail
6 pieces PlaKids Town Station
1 PlaKid Conductor

This set was the first release of Plarail Emily. Emily is a tender-drive locomotive with the battery compartment and gearbox in the tender. The large wheels on the engine have traction tires so that her piston rods move properly as she rolls.

This coach was a new tooling which opens up to reveal three PlaKid seats.

The PlaKids Town series was a relatively small Thomas-themed series of opening buildings that could fit PlaKid figures. In addition to this set, three individual buildings were sold with PlaKids figures representing Thomas characters, and some of the components appeared in a handful of other sets as well. The PlaKids Town Station in this set includes a station platform and the station office itself.

Both of these individual components fit into the PlaKids Town base section which has an integrated half straight rail. The station building opens up and the conductor figure can be placed inside.

The track in this set is standard mid 2000s track with the Tomy logo on both the top and bottom of most sections.

The set is a basic endless loop, but it includes a new character that was not released regularly at the time as well as the neat coach to work with PlaKid figures. The set is obviously intended to work with additional PlaKids Town accessories, two of which released the same day, and really supplant a larger rail network with trackside buildings and scenery.
