The 'Calling All Engines' - Thomas Airport Set, also called the Calling All Engines - Thomas at the Airport Set in the United States, is a 2005 Thomas Motor Road & Rail set released in the United States and Europe. Shown above is the U.K. Motor Road & Rail style box. This set is a tie-in with the Thomas the Tank Engine DVD special "Calling All Engines" released in late 2005, and has a nice mix of uncommon accessories with a few even being exclusive to the set. In Europe it was released in October 2005.

This set includes a standard later export Thomas with rounded buffers as well as happy and shocked Troublesome Trucks.
Included for the trucks to haul are two paint barrel loads and two log loads - in the Calling All Engines special, Thomas had to take paint and building materials to the new Sodor Airport.
The classic Plarail J-01 Tunnel appears in this set, having been redesigned to be brown and green with new portal stickers in 2003 for the Japanese market.
The Sodor Airport is exclusive to this set and is based on the flying Harold station. It uses the same internal drive mechanism and same metal rod with plastic ends to attach the plane to the airport. Because they are the same, this plane can also circle around any of the Harold stations and Harold can circle this one.
Also included in this set is a single shed and a green suspension bridge. In the DVD special, an additional shed was being added to the main Sodor roundhouse and after a large storm a green suspension bridge was blown out, so both of these elements also add to the cross-play and ability to reenact scenes from the special.
2000s production rail, grey mini piers and a bridge support, and a somewhat uncommon (particularly in the United States) buffer piece are also included.
This set is one of the more feature-packed sets in the export Thomas lineup, with a lot of cool small destinations in a fairly small layout. The airport and plane are cool set variants, the shed and buffers are a cool addition, the trucks with their cargo are nice, and the partially elevated layout with bridge sets it apart from many other small sets.
