Although I would probably not consider myself to be a "gamer," I am very interested in video games as a technology and have greatly come to appreciate video games which are fun games or toys removed from the specificity of being "video". I am not very good at most actiony video games, but I appreciate and am interested in the technology, ideas and concepts, and art present in many video and computer games. When I was going to garage sales and flea markets every weekend when I was in middle and high school I amassed a large collection of a variety of consoles and games. Eventually I found a few local game stores and got into importing Japanese games and consoles and also got into collecting old computers.
