The first product released for the Bandai Pocket Fantasy series was the Pocket Fantasy Station (ポケットファンタジーステーション) in October 2002. The set was sold into 2009.

The "station" is a Thomas-shaped carrying case that unfolds and reveals a neat interactive playset that fits Pocket Fantasy and Thomas Town trains.
Included is a Pocket Fantasy Thomas and a log car that can carry the included logs.
The unfolded layout features a working log loader with logs as well as Boulder Mountain and Ffarquhar Station. Knapford Station and a turntable are also included, as are road sections and rail bridges crossing the gaps of the hinges. The station looks neat with trains and other vehicles filling it out.
On the outside, each side opens to reveal storage space for Pocket Fantasy or Thomas Town characters. More can be stored inside loose with the other set components (I keep mine in a plastic bag kept inside). The underside has licensing information. This version of the case stayed in production into 2009 when it was replaced with the Big Thomas Station version of the toy.
On May 16, 2009 to coincide with the release of the Play and Clean Up Box the Pocket Fantasy Station was rereleased as the Big Thomas Station (おおきなトーマスステーション). This version had new designs of the stickers on the deck but otherwise pretty much the same contents - this version does, however, now include a bannered Thomas, which I bought separately (separate from the large, bulky case, anyways) at some point.
