On December 16th, 2010 the Thomas-series Plarail train pack Percy and Circus Wagons Set (パーシーとサーカス貨車セット) was released featuring a decorated Percy with several "action" freight cars in the same vein as other Plarail Thomas train packs. This set specifically mentions the circus although the cars are a little less directly related to the circus than the previous Percy with Fun Action Freight Car Set.
Percy has banners and bunting stickers on his side. There is nothing different in the tooling of the body shell itself. This particular example was produced in November 2012.
The pack includes a balloon cargo car based on the Plarail cement mixer from the Fun Action Freight Car Set but with a neat transparent mixer portion with balls inside that spin around and are agitated as the train rolls along.
A recolored version of the rickety freight car with raising and lowering boxes as well as a circus-themed cattle van are also included. This "clown car" cattle van is the same one included in the Percy with Fun Action Freight Car Set from a year prior.
A blue slate wagon carries two little free-floating horses that can bob around slightly as the train runs.
The boxes for these train packs all specify that you aren't really supposed to use more than two cars with the train like a standard three-car set, but I know most children and collectors alike often run longer trains. The cars from this set go well with the Percy with Fun Action Freight Car Set, of course, but it is a little odd that Tomy made such similar products so close together...
