The 7406 Thomas Station Set was first released in yellow Tomica World packaging in 1999 for the European market. This set was not exported to the United States but did get new red and blue Tomica World packaging in 2000 and blue Thomas Motor Road & Rail packaging in 2003.

Depending on the production era, these sets could have come with old logo six wheel chassis Thomases with painted (1999-2001) or plastic (2001-2002) faces or the new logo separate plastic face standard "export" Thomas.
The Wellsworth Station on earlier examples would be the reinforced signpost version, with later Motor Road & Rail copies coming with the new logo version. The Tomica World type sets often come with these wider-based signals and trees.
This set has a fairly basic but varied layout with a pair of points and a larger loop going around the elevated bridge section.
This is obviously a fairly basic set... I kind of wish that they kept making the Thomas Deluxe Set with Percy and a road layout instead of carrying this set forward into the Motor Road & Rail era.
