In 2005 the Thomas Water & Coal Station Set was released in the United States as part of the American Thomas Motorized Road & Rail range featuring Thomas and the water tower and coal loader accessory.

This set includes a standard mid-2000s export Thomas with Annie and Clarabel. Like some other stock photos taken around this time, the more detailed white running board Thomas (in particular the sticker-side type used in the Thomas and Terence Loading and Unloading Set and its exports) is used in photos on the box, but the standard type was included.
The water tower and coal loader was first released in the Japanese More Talkative Thomas Set in 2004 and was then localized for this set in the United States and an individual accessory release in the U.K. The accessory base includes places to install two light poles, the water tower, a ladder on the side of the water tower, as well as several places where Plakids can be inserted and stood up which are left over from the Japanese release.
The lever on the left raises and lowers the spout of the water tower. Spinning the knob either raises or lowers the coal chute while shaking the hopper, continuing to shake after the chute has finished moving. The track stopper will stop most tank and many traditional tender engines in about the right spot but some engines with drive units in their tender or intermediate car like Harvey will stop a little far forward.
The track in this set is mid 2000s track with the squared-off Tomy logo in the "top".
The set is fairly small with no accessories other than the coal loader and water tower, and the track layout is as small as it could be... It is smaller than the More Talkative Thomas Set and it has less accessories than the Harold's Cargo Delivery Set released in the U.S. the same year - with an engine other than Thomas! Other than being the only place to get the water tower in the United States, there is nothing really interesting or special about this set.
